Green Tags
- Green Tags, also known as Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), support the replacement of traditional, polluting energy technologies (such as coal, oil and gas) with clean solar and wind power.
- Each Green Tag equals 1,000 kilowatt hours of energy supplied to our power grid by clean domestic and sustainable energy sources, and offsets approximately 1400 pounds of CO2
- Individual Green Tags are tracked from creation of clean power to each individual end purchaser
